The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) issued a new policy statement, SIDS and Other Sleep-Related Infant Deaths: Expansion of Recommendations for a Safe Infant Sleeping Environment in 2011. The AAP recommendations expanded from focusing only on SIDS to focusing on a safe sleep environment that can reduce the risk of all sleep-related infant deaths, including SIDS. In this webinar, leading infant death experts Rachel Moon, MD, and Fern Hauck, MD, MS, examine the expanded recommendations in depth. (Click on the Watch icon to the left to view Webinar). |
